Scouts is currently the oldest section at Staplehurst Scout Group and is open to children aged between 10½ and 14 years old.
The Scout Troop meets weekly during school term time, normally on a Friday between 19:30 (7.30 p.m.) and 21:00 (9.30 p.m.) at the Staplehurst Scout Hut; situated off Nicholson Walk between Surrenden Field and the High Street (see here).
Sometimes we shall meet elsewhere and / or at a different time in order to do certain activities (e.g. Archery, Climbing, Hikes etc.) - if this is the case we shall notify people well in advance.
If you are interested in joining, please come along to a meeting and try it out!

Subs
Subs are currently £4.50 per week per child.
If you have two or more children in the Group, subs are £4.50 per week for the first child and £3.00 per week for every additional child.
Moving On - Local Explorers Units
After Scouts you may move up to Explorers (14 to 18 y.o.), unfortunately we do not have an Explorer's section here in staplehurst at present however there are ones close by.
